CSCMP Global Challenge - Official Rules

Campaign Period: October 15, 2025 - December 31, 2025

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for and participating in the CSCMP Global Challenge ("Challenge"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not participate in the Challenge.

The Challenge is organized and administered by the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals ("CSCMP"), a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the supply chain profession.

2. Eligibility

To participate in the Challenge, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have a valid LinkedIn account
  • Have access to LinkedIn Learning (either through your organization or individual subscription)
  • Be a supply chain professional or student in the supply chain field
  • Agree to share certificates publicly on LinkedIn
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Note: CSCMP members and non-members are both eligible to participate. Employees of CSCMP and their immediate family members are eligible but are not eligible for physical prizes.

3. How to Participate

Registration
  1. Create an account on the CSCMP Global Challenge platform
  2. Complete your profile with accurate information
  3. Review the list of approved LinkedIn Learning courses
Submitting Certificates
  1. Share your LinkedIn Learning certificate on your LinkedIn profile
  2. Your post must be public (visible to everyone)
  3. Include the hashtag #CSCMPGlobalChallenge in your post
  4. Optionally mention CSCMP or the challenge in your post text
  5. Submit the URL of your LinkedIn post and Certificate (PDF or JPG) through the Challenge platform
  6. Wait for CSCMP administrators to verify your submission
Important Notes
  • Each certificate can only be submitted once
  • Certificates must be from the approved course list
  • LinkedIn posts must remain public throughout the Challenge period
  • Submissions are subject to verification and may be rejected if requirements are not met

4. Reward Tiers & Recognition

Participants earn rewards based on the number of verified certificates:

Platinum 10 certificates ✓ Platinum Badge Certificate of Excellence + Premium CSCMP Merchandise + Feature Recognition

Digital Badges: Awarded automatically upon tier achievement and can be shared on LinkedIn

Rewards: Distributed after the Challenge concludes (estimated January-February 2026)

Leaderboards: Top performers featured on individual, country, roundtable, and certificate leaderboards

5. Verification & Rejection

Verification Timeline

Submissions are typically verified within 3-5 business days. CSCMP reserves the right to take longer during periods of high volume.

Grounds for Rejection

Submissions may be rejected for the following reasons:

  • LinkedIn post is not public or has been deleted
  • Certificate does not match an approved course
  • Certificate appears forged, altered, or fraudulent
  • LinkedIn post does not include required hashtag #CSCMPGlobalChallenge
  • Certificate was submitted outside the Challenge period
  • Duplicate submission of the same certificate
  • Certificate belongs to someone other than the participant
Resubmission

If your submission is rejected, you will receive an email with the specific reason. You may correct the issue and resubmit. CSCMP's verification decisions are final.

6. Privacy & Data Usage

By participating, you acknowledge that:

  • Your name, organization, and achievements may be displayed on public leaderboards (subject to your privacy settings)
  • CSCMP may use your participation data for research, analysis, and promotional purposes
  • Your information will be handled according to our Privacy Policy
  • You may adjust your privacy settings at any time to control what information is publicly visible
  • CSCMP may feature top performers in promotional materials, newsletters, and social media

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Challenge platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of CSCMP or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

By sharing certificates on LinkedIn:

  • You retain ownership of your LinkedIn posts
  • You grant CSCMP permission to reference and link to your public LinkedIn posts for verification
  • You represent that you have the right to share the certificate

8. Code of Conduct

Participants must:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Complete courses honestly without circumventing learning objectives
  • Not forge, alter, or misrepresent certificates
  • Not submit certificates by others
  • Not create multiple accounts to gain unfair advantage
  • Respect other participants and maintain professional conduct
  • Not attempt to manipulate leaderboards or gaming the system

Violations may result in disqualification, removal from leaderboards, and forfeiture of all rewards.

9. Disqualification

CSCMP reserves the right to disqualify any participant who:

  • Violates these Terms and Conditions
  • Engages in fraudulent, dishonest, or unethical behavior
  • Submits false information or forged certificates
  • Attempts to manipulate or exploit the Challenge system
  • Harasses or abuses other participants or CSCMP staff
  • Violates applicable laws or regulations

Disqualified participants forfeit all rewards and recognition.

10. Limitation of Liability

CSCMP is not responsible for technical issues, including but not limited to website downtime, email delivery failures, LinkedIn platform issues, or loss of data. Participants are responsible for maintaining their own records of course completion.

CSCMP makes no guarantees regarding LinkedIn Learning availability, course content, or certificate issuance, as these are controlled by LinkedIn/Microsoft.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CSCMP is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from participation in the Challenge.

11. Modifications & Termination

CSCMP reserves the right to:

  • Modify these Terms and Conditions at any time (with notice to participants)
  • Modify the list of approved courses
  • Adjust reward tiers or benefits (for future achievements, not retroactively)
  • Extend or shorten the Challenge period
  • Suspend or terminate the Challenge for any reason, including technical issues or unforeseen circumstances

Participants will be notified of material changes via email and platform announcements.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from the Challenge shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
