About the CSCMP Global Learning Challenge

The CSCMP Global Learning Challenge is an open, worldwide initiative designed to help supply chain professionals build foundational knowledge, explore new topics, and take visible steps in their professional development journey. The competition is open until December 31, 2025.

By earning CSCMP SCPro Foundations Professional Certificates through LinkedIn Learning and participating in the Challenge, you join a growing global community of learners who are strengthening their skills, tracking their progress, and preparing for the next level of professional growth.

This page explains what these Professional Certificates represent, how to describe them accurately, and how to continue your journey with CSCMP.

WHAT YOU WILL EARN

Understanding Your Achievement

By completing a CSCMP SCPro Foundations Professional Certificate, you are demonstrating a commitment to structured learning and successful completion of an assessment in a specific area of supply chain management.

These certificates indicate:

UNDERSTANDING THE DIFFERENCE

Certificates vs. Certification vs. Membership

It is important to distinguish between certificates, certifications, and membership. The CSCMP Professional Certificates are not certifications, and they do not grant membership into CSCMP.

A Professional Certificate

  • Recognizes learning achievement
  • Demonstrates foundational knowledge
  • Does not require renewal

A Certification

  • Validates professional competence through a proctored exam
  • Requires ongoing renewal
  • Is earned through CSCMP's SCPro Level 1 program

A CSCMP Membership

  • Connects you to a global professional community
  • Provides access to resources, events, and career development opportunities

Your Professional Certificate validates your knowledge but is not the same as CSCMP membership or SCPro certification.
